Tigers Minor League Wrap – June 20th

Rochester 7, Toledo 1
It was another average outing for Jordan Tata. He allowed 4 runs in 6 innings on 7 hits and 3 walks while striking out 5. Mark Woodyard allowed 3 runs in 2 innings of relief work. The Hens offense only mustered 4 hits.

Erie 4, Reading 3
Kurt Airoso was 2 for 4 and Mike Rabelo was 2 for 3. Nate Bumstead allowed 3 runs in 6 innings. He walked 3 and struck out 2.

Fort Myers 11, Lakeland 3
Jeff Frazier was 2 for 4 with his 7th homer. Chris Robinson has been swining the bat well and his 2 for 3 raised his average to .271. Jeremy Johnson was hit hard allowing 7 runs and two homers in 3 1/3 innings. Control was also a problem with 4 walks against 2 strikeouts.

MWL All Star Game: The game featured only 2 appearances by Whitecaps. Michael Hollimon was 0 for 1 and Orlando Perdomo retired the 2 batters he faced.
