Raburn Outighted – trade pending?
The Tigers outrighted the contract of Ryan Raburn to Toledo. I can’t help but wonder if this is a precursor to a signing or trade.

Or anticipating that they might want something in the Rule 5. I really hope it’s not a bunch of money for Todd Jones.

Come on. Todd Jones ain’t all that bad and when you look at the money being tossed around for guys older than Percival (damn, just imagine the contract he’d have gotten this year), I don’t think a few million to Jones will bust the bank.

I’d take Jonesy at a reasonable price. He’s not going to set any records, but he’s a genuinely good guy and anything that pushes Craig Dingman down on the depth chart is a good thing, IMHO.

Looks like it’s not a precursor to any Javier Vasquez deal, either.

Well, thank god we didn’t make that trade.
