“Tigers manager Alan Trammell has an unexpectedly late battle in his rotation, but he figured his battle for center field would last into the final days. What began as a four-person scrum has been reduced to a two-man duel for the final two weeks. But Kingsale and Torres have been as close in competition as they are in friendship.”
